Click here for Episode 8 - Back to our regular format!

After last week's new year (reusable! podcast) special, we're back to our regular format.

This week we feature from the joint new label (artizen) from both Rick Braun and Richard Elliot (to gr8 legends of Smooth Jazz) a couple of snippets from the new Rick Braun CD entitled Yours Truly. Be sure to visit http://www.artizenmusic.com to download some ace tracks & even put in what podcast you listen to !

We feature : Holding back the years – Originally by Simply Red and Kiss of Life – Apparently Rick toured with Sade’s band in his early days

Other newies include snippets from the new CD by Brian Culbertson : Its on Tonight
Its truly amazing to see him ‘live’ as he whizzes across the keyboard with extreme confidence. He also plays trombone!(Featured Snippets are: Lets Get Started and Hooking up)

The Profs done a gr8 mix/mash-up with the FAST TRACK REVIEW, featuring the late gr8 Barry White

Barry sadly passed away on July 4th 2003. The tracks featured here are from his most successful decade : the seventies, including Barry’s group – Love unlimited and the Love unlimited orchestra. The mashup includes:

You’re the first , my last, my everything
Satin soul
Only you can make me blue
Cant get enough of your love baby
Honey please cant you see
It may be winter outside
Just the way you are
Never gonna give you up
Playing your game
See the trouble with me
I cant let him down
Midnight and you
I’m gonna love you just a little bit more baby
Walking in the rain
Love’s theme

We continue with our World Music Fusion Spot with a gr8 African Jazz track by Super Rail Band De Mako entitled Masa.
From the 1998 One World 2 CD compilation (track 16)

The Prof went jazzier this week with the Oldies section featuring:

Deep forest – Sweet llulabye
Ronny Jordan – Come with me & After Hours
Van Mcoy – StarTrek Shuffle Hustle
Kat Mandu – The Break
