Smooth Groovers - studio upgrade week

Folks,
No Smooth Groovers this week as the Studio is being upgraded.
In addition, the Dr, Prof and Master has been busy with a number of projects:

1. The latest Fast Track Review - These mash-ups take time to put together and we welcome your views on them. Up and coming are GB, RA and Mz. (see if you can guess the artists)
2. Yes, Valentines Day is just around the corner. Hey! It was only Christmas and New Year a few weeks back! Therefore, we're putting together a special smooze show!
3. As previously mentioned, with the Studio being upgraded we're aiming for an enhancement in the quality of our voiceovers et al.

I know that the Earth Wind and Fire mash-up/fast-track review brought back a load of memories for some of you. Its also a great 15minute track to train to! Please keep sending us your feedback.

All the best from the Smooth Groovers Team.

Our world music spot features an in studio expert guest Sister Soothe outlining how eastern and western music styles are fusing together. Complementing the Dr's belief that music unifies humanity. We feature a track from an Indian (South East Asia) movie soundtrack called Swades - This latter word translates to 'We the people' (please visit: http://www.swades.com/ for more information). Thank you Sister Soothe for all your time and insights to communicate knowledge of this emerging music style.

The oldie review includes Archie Bell and the Drells (Good time), Black Legend (See the trouble with me), Village People (YMCA mixed with the latter), Adeva (Thank you), Chicane (Off-shore) and Francine Mcgee (Delerium).

In weeks to come we hope to get more guests, experts in their field, for example to help us understand how wonderful music is as a way of bringing people together, world music knowledge and how music can get you fit for life!

We value your feedback so please feel free to click on the little envelope below to stay in touch!

The Profs done a gr8 mix/mash-up with the FAST TRACK REVIEW, featuring the late gr8 Barry White

Barry sadly passed away on July 4th 2003. The tracks featured here are from his most successful decade : the seventies, including Barry’s group – Love unlimited and the Love unlimited orchestra. The mashup includes:

You’re the first , my last, my everything
Satin soul
Only you can make me blue
Cant get enough of your love baby
Honey please cant you see

Just the way you are
Never gonna give you up

See the trouble with me
I cant let him down
Midnight and you
I’m gonna love you just a little bit more baby
Walking in the rain
Love’s theme

We continue with our World Music Fusion Spot with a gr8 African Jazz track by Super Rail Band De Mako entitled Masa.
